Description
Als dritter Sohn des Hauses York erfährt Richard nichts als Verachtung von seiner Mutter, die ihn als Teufelssohn sieht. Gleichzeitig wird ihm von seinem Vater aufrichtige Zuneigung zuteil, was in einem Gefühlschaos für ihn endet. Richards größter Wunsch ist es, dass sein Vater den Thron von England besteigen kann. Richards unschuldiger Wunsch stürzt das Land in einen Krieg, wobei er zusätzlich ein dunkles Geheimnis hegt: Er wurde sowohl mit männlichen als auch weiblichen Geschlechtsmerkmalen geboren. Mit diesem Geheimnis stürzt er sich dennoch in die große Schlacht.
